In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken, cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to coat the ingredients evenly.
Thread the chicken and tomato pieces onto metal or wooden skewers, alternating between the two.
Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.
Grill the chicken and tomato skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the tomatoes are slightly charred.
In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Brush the garlic oil onto the crostini slices.
Grill the crostini for 2-3 minutes per side, or until lightly toasted and crisp.
Serve the grilled chicken and tomato skewers with the garlic crostini on the side.
