Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chopped kimchi and sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant and slightly softened.
Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the kimchi. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.
Pour the soy sauce over the rice mixture and stir to coat evenly. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is lightly browned and crispy.
Remove the skillet from the heat and add the butter. Stir the butter into the fried rice until it is melted and evenly distributed.
Sprinkle the smoked paprika over the top of the fried rice and toss gently to combine.
