In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of tamarind paste. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
